Designed with a smooth internal plastic food zone, the Ice-O-Matic CIM1136FA/B55PS ice maker with bin doesn’t foster the growth of microbes, such as mold spores, bacteria, or mildew. This piece of equipment has a maximum production capacity of 932 pounds in 24 hours when optimal environmental conditions are met, and its bin can store 510 pounds of prepared ice. The bin is made of aluminum to resist corrosion.
The Ice-O-Matic CIM1136FA/B55PS modular cube ice maker with bin produces full-cube ice, a form that’s optimal for cooling beverages because of how slowly it melts. Because of their shape and size, the cubes’ melting speed is slower than that of half-cube or nugget ice, though they’re not ideal for blended frozen beverages, such as margaritas and smoothies. The inside of the bin is lined with polyethylene to keep the ice fresh.
