The True TS-23-1-G-1 reach-in refrigerator has one solid half door on the bottom and one glass half door on the top. This glass door is made with double-pane, thermal glass to keep light outside of the refrigerator from negatively impacting the temperature inside the unit, and it provides product visibility without opening the door. Both doors self-close and include standard door locks to prevent unauthorized access. Cold air is retained with magnetic gaskets around the frames.

The temperature of the unit is maintained at a set level between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit by R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, and temperature recovery is quick since the evaporator fan motor and large fan blades create high-volume airflow.
