Other Common Targets (varies by water)
- Chloramines (with contact time)
- Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
- Some pesticides/herbicides

- Micro-sediments / turbidity
- Organic color/odor compounds
Installation & Priming
- Wash hands and ensure upper/lower chambers are clean.
- Install each element with the provided washer inside the upper chamber and wing nut below; hand-tighten.
- Prime before use: Using the priming washer, gently press each element against a faucet and run cool water until the exterior beads evenly and water runs clear. Repeat for both elements.
- Fill upper chamber with potable water and allow gravity filtration into the lower chamber. Discard the first full batch after priming.
- Check for leaks around stems; snug by hand if needed. Do not overtighten.
Important: Elements do not remove beneficial minerals like magnesium and calcium and do not change total dissolved solids (TDS). A TDS meter will usually read the same before and after.
Care & Maintenance
- Periodically brush the exterior of the elements with a clean, non-abrasive pad to maintain flow.
- Re-prime after long storage, when flow slows, or after heavy sediment exposure.
- Replace when flow is unacceptably slow after cleaning, or when rated gallon life is reached.
- Do not allow wet elements to freeze. Store dry in a cool, clean place.
Warranty, Returns & Support
- Warranty: Manufacturer warranty applies. See packaged terms.
- Returns: Unused/undamaged items within store policy window. Contact support for an RMA.
- Support: Questions about fit or performance? Contact Plant Based Pros with your system model.
