The SB65S in particular has a 65-80 Ib. oil capacity and produces a maximum of 151,000 BTU (NAT/LP) for outstanding frying results. Southbend’s SB65S has a cooking depth of 5″ and 745 square inches of heat transfer area for plenty of frying space. This unit is installed with a tube-type fry pot which permits over 50% more heat to be transferred to the oil which aids in the quick recovery of heat lost in between loads. A large cold zone on this fryer also helps to capture food particles, reduces flavor transfer, and extends the life of your oil.
