Cleveland SGL30TR Description

The Cleveland SGL30TR DuraPan braising pan has a 30-gallon capacity and coved corners to eliminate crevices that could trap debris and harbor bacteria. So operators can accurately add ingredients, the pan also has measurement markings, while heat between 100 and 425 degrees Fahrenheit is evenly distributed. Users can adjust the temperature on the control knob.

A cover comes with the unit, keeping heat around the product to save energy while shortening cook times and preventing the kitchen from getting too hot. Easing opening, this cover is spring assisted, and the handle spans across the full width of it. There is a vent in the cover, enabling users to release heat and steam, which can reduce moisture content in food or let steam out slowly before the cover is lifted.

Because the Cleveland SGL30TR tilt skillet can be tilted to ease content emptying, and its tilt mechanism operates with a hand crank, raising when turned clockwise and lowering in the opposite direction. Though it is more affordable, the hand crank mechanism is not as efficient or smooth as power tilt options. When the unit is tilted, food flows out the pour lip directly into a container below, while a strainer in the pour spout lets operators separate solid and liquid food.
