Its enameled steel griddle plate is made of one piece to streamline cleaning and the included grease compartment catches and contains food runoff. The back and side splashes on the unit prevent food splatter from hitting the wall or nearby equipment, keeping the surrounding area clean and safe from hot grease.
The thermostatic controller in the Equipex PSSE-400/1 commercial griddle equips the user to designate a specific temperature instead of just using a high/low valve; it can be adjusted as high as 570 degrees Fahrenheit. The control panel is recessed to prevent users from accidentally changing this number. It’s operated with an on/off switch; indicator lights shine when the pilot is turned on and the temperature is high to prevent burns.
