So prechilled foods remain cold on food bars and buffet lines, the Hatco CWB-S2 refrigerated drop-in well features a cold-wall construction using R-513A refrigerant to hold product at safe temperatures without drying them out. Staff can adjust temperature with the corresponding electronic control, and to minimize icy buildup, this panel is built with automatic defrost. While the angled interior wall lets cool air blanket the food pans, the unit’s insulated sides and bottom retain temperatures to minimize energy consumption in warm environments.
With its slim size and drop-in configuration, the Hatco CWB-S2 refrigerated cold well enhances accessibility and creates a sleek, streamlined appearance in food bars. This 4813/100-inch-wide by 1847/50-inch-deep by 261/25-inch-tall unit accommodates two full-size food pans and can be installed in cutouts as large as 479/100 inches wide by 1747/50 inches deep. To adjust venting and enhance flexibility during installation, its condensing unit can be rotated 180 degrees Fahrenheit or be moved left in 443/50-inch increments. This component includes a sight glass, service valves, a dryer/filter, and a receiver, and to ease maintenance, its long, flexible refrigerant line is simple to extract.
