This unit can produce as much as 54 pounds of top hat ice—the largest ice form—in 24 hours. Because it has a high ice-to-water ratio, it slowly melts in beverages and is optimal for alcohols such as Scotch. The ice maker is a compact and efficient unit with a built-in storage bin that can hold 27 pounds of ice at once. With its front-breathing configuration, the ice maker does require rear or side clearance, and the door can accommodate custom cabinetry to blend with existing themes.
