Lakeside 6855 LMAP Description
To create a stationary or mobile serving station in offices or event venues, the Lakeside 6855 LMAP breakout serving counter is fitted with four 4-inch-diameter casters; two of these casters swivel for smooth mobility, while the other two are fixed to ensure stabilization during use. Each caster has a non-marking cushion-tread wheel to prevent the unit from scuffing or scraping floors. For a built-in appearance concealing the casters, a recessed stainless steel panel encases three sides of the base. This 99-inch-wide by 321/2-inch-deep by 38-inch-tall piece features a convenient dish-storage area on the customer-facing side and three recessed compartments on the operator-facing side. The left and center compartments include an adjustable laminate shelf to accommodate additional equipment and supplies.
The Lakeside 6855 LMAP serving station’s top is made of black, waterproof laminate that resists stains to provide a clean, neutral backdrop for displayed foods. Its 95-inch-wide by 301/2-inch-deep top provides ample space for coffee airpots, stacked cups, cream and sugar, snacks, and finger foods, while its stainless steel top railing encloses three sides to secure contents in place as the unit is moved. Two 163/8-inch-wide by 301/2-inch-deep drop leaves are positioned on either side of the top, and their swing-out supports stabilize the leaves in place. To save space and ease transportation, the leaves can be folded down, and for an attractive contrast with the black laminate top, the base is finished with a light-maple laminate that mimics natural wood.
