To tie into common office themes, the Lakeside 8655 VCHER breakout dining station features a black, stain-resistant, waterproof laminate top and Victorian-cherry laminate base. This 99-inch-wide by 32¹/₂-inch-deep by 38-inch-tall unit is mounted on four 4-inch-diameter casters with non-marking cushion-tread wheels. While two of these casters are fixed, the other two swivel for smooth mobility. To resemble a stationary unit, a stainless steel panel encases three sides of the cart, concealing casters. Dinnerware can be stored in the front dish storage compartment, while additional supplies and items can be stored in the three interior compartments located on the other sides. To enhance organization, the left and right compartment each include one adjustable laminate shelf.

The Lakeside 8655 VCHER dining station’s 95-inch-wide by 30¹/₂-inch-deep top provides ample display space for drinks, coffee airpots, muffins, sandwiches, hors d’oeuvres, and desserts. A 16³/₈-inch-wide by 30¹/₂-inch-deep drop leaf is positioned on both ends of the unit to maximize display space. Swing-out supports add rigidity so the leaves can accommodate heavy contents. To save space or create a bistro table, the drop leaves can be folded down. Railing encases three sides of the top section to secure displayed foods in place, and because these rails are stainless steel, they resist rust and corrosion to endure frequent use over time.
