Its daily production level is programmable, and when more ice is not needed, operators can pause production with the delay feature. The display also provides maintenance alerts to help keep the unit running smoothly, and to speed up service calls, it self-diagnoses issues.

This Manitowoc Ice IDT0750A-261/SPA312 ice machine and dispenser makes square dice ice that measures ⁷/₈ inch on each side. These cubes are not as large as Manitowoc’s regular or gourmet cubes, but they still melt slowly and work for bags or buckets in hotels. The large dispensing area accommodates most containers, and the large drain pan can hold a lot of ice, helping keep the floor dry. The quick-to-respond dispense lever cuts down on waste ice, and the internal agitator helps empty all cubes from the interior.

To create pure ice, this unit sprays water upwards onto the evaporator so sediment can fall off instead of freezing. Food zone components, which consistently touch the water, are protected against bacterial growth with AlphaSan protection.
