The time and daily ice production can be programmed by the user to produce as much as 715 pounds per day in ideal conditions. Its DuraTech exterior prevents fingerprints and smudges from showing up on the outside surface.

The Manitowoc Ice IYT0750A/D970 commercial ice maker provides preventive maintenance and diagnosis all day to ensure that the unit is running optimally. For efficient cleaning, the distribution tube, curtain, sensing probes, and water trough are removable. An icon-based touchscreen is located on the front exterior for straightforward programming and operating. To facilitate scooping, the door of the ice bin stays open and is angled at 53 degrees, while a scoop holder is built in for convenient access to ice.
