Producing as much as 450 pounds of ice per day and storing as much as 536 pounds of ice in reserve, this Scotsman FS0522A-1/B530P/KBT27 flake ice machine head and bin combo is good for venues that sell low volumes of frozen beverages such as margaritas and smoothies. Because the machine head is treated with AgION antimicrobial, it resists the spread of mildew, mold spores, and bacteria. To streamline cleaning, it features one-touch controls; built-in indicator lights warn users if maintenance is needed. This unit’s durable stainless steel finish withstands heavy use and resists corrosion.
To keep flake ice produced by the FS0522A-1 ice maker chilled for extended periods, the Scotsman B530P ice bin is constructed with a rotocast plastic exterior and polyurethane foam insulation that control the bin’s interior temperature. Its front-opening door is top hinged and users can access the ice maker’s removable filter from the front. To resist scratches and chips from ice scoops, the bin features an impact-resistant polyethylene liner. Standing on 6-inch legs, the bin is tall enough for most users to reach and scoop the ice comfortably.
