True Refrigeration TRCB-79 Description

The True TRCB-79 chef base has a heavy-duty top for holding equipment and a refrigerated base for storing ingredients. Its top is made of stainless steel for rust resistance, and its flat design enables oversized items to be set on top. For durability, the front and sides are stainless steel, while the back is aluminum with a matching finish. Drawers on the front have inward handles that do not disrupt staff working on the top, and the drawers’ handles, slides, and rollers are durable for use in a commercial kitchen.

Lined with stainless steel and insulated with polyurethane, the drawers in this TRCB-79 chef base can accommodate two full-size pans. The polyurethane foam increases energy efficiency because it reduces how hard the refrigeration system needs to work to maintain cold temperatures, which range from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. These cold temperatures are created by R134A refrigerant running through capillary tubes, and the cold air is circulated by large fans. Temperature readouts are provided on the external display. For maintenance, the condenser pulls out from the front, and the unit rolls on castors for cleaning.
