Because of its low-profile design, the True TUC-60F-LP-HC undercounter freezer can slide under countertops. Maintaining a set temperature around -10 degrees Fahrenheit, this unit uses a factory-balanced system to cool uniformly, while its evaporator and condenser fan motors produce a small amount of heat and a consistent volume of air. Its self-contained capillary tube system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to reduce environmental impact, and the defrost system operates automatically on a time-initiated, time-terminated system, with temperatures viewable on a digital exterior display.

The exterior of the True TUC-60F-LP-HC two-section undercounter freezer is made of stainless steel with a GalFan-coated steel back and a clear-coated aluminum interior liner. Its entire cabinet structure and doors are foamed in place with a high-density polyurethane to seal cold air inside. For mobility, this unit is fitted with 1¹⁄₂-inch-diameter castors and has a work surface height of 31⁷⁄₈ inches. To retain cold temperatures, the unit’s doors are self-closing, and to facilitate stocking, they have a 90-degree, stay-open feature. Four PVC-coated wire shelves support contents and are adjustable in ¹⁄₂-inch increments. Each shelf comes with four chrome-plated clips, and this pre-wired unit has an epoxy-coated evaporator to prevent corrosion.
