The Berkey Light® System is our most economical full size water filtration solution. Equipped with powerful Black Berkey® filtration elements, the Berkey Light® gravity-fed water filtration system offers the same contaminant reduction performance as our stainless steel systems, but in a more rugged design that’s super-durable and very lightweight. It’s perfect for use at destinations on the go or at home.
- This Berkey Light® System comes standard with 2 Black Berkey® Elements but can be expanded up to 4 elements
- Constructed of a non-BPA/BPS co-polyester, which does not retain or leach any foul odors into your water

I live off-grid, put my little home on skids to avoid permitting. Thing is, you have to have all kinds of permits to have a home built, but putting it right next to my creek on skids and with no surface disturbance, allows me to be here. The thing is I cannot get a well permit, so the only water source I have is the creek which is clean. And this is where the filter excels. We first place our water into five gallon pails to allow sediment (no much) to settle. Then we fill the Berkey and it works great, very happy with the result.
