Hatco S-45
The Hatco S-45 booster heater has a 16-gallon tank that uses a heating element system to heat water to 180 degrees Fahrenheit, the necessary temperature for sanitizing dishes in a high-temperature dish machine. Its thermostat can also be adjusted to heat water to 140 degrees Fahrenheit if it is going to be used with a low-temperature machine instead. To use the booster heater, the operator only needs to flip the on/off toggle switch, and a low-water cut-off feature shuts off the heating element when the water level gets too low. A high-temperature limit safety feature shuts the unit off if the temperature goes over the safe limit.
A Castone lining in the tank helps keep the internal components of the Hatco S-45 booster heater protected from corrosion and limescale buildup. For energy efficiency, the tank is surrounded by fiberglass insulation and a heat trap that further prevent heat from being lost into the surrounding environment. When it comes time to service or repair the Imperial booster heater, the front panel is removable to expose vital electrical components. Its heating elements are sheathed in metal for protection.
