Depending on pan depth, the Market Forge ALTAIR II-6 electric steamer can hold as many as (12) 12-inch-by-20-inch pans. To increase steam velocity and distribute it evenly, the cavity uses a convection fan that moves air throughout the compartment. It operates like a heat sink, retaining heat, offering quick heat recovery, and reducing energy consumption. Built for frequent use, the cavity is made of cast aluminum, but it is still convenient to clean with a non-stick anodized finish.

Cooking in three main modes, the Market Forge ALTAIR II-6 electric steamer is versatile for a variety of applications. Along with the soft poach, traditional steam, and high heat steam modes, the settings are customizable as high as 230 degrees Fahrenheit. When water is needed in the system, the automatic fill feature adds it to the unit, and food is kept out of the reservoir with a clean water system.
