Pitco SSPE14

Ideal for Italian restaurants or commercial kitchens that serve many pasta items, the Pitco SSPE14 Solstice supreme pasta electric cooker uses a digital controller to boil or simmer pasta and other precooked items. The boiling water mode cooks pasta quickly and maintains boiling temperatures for cooking items one after another. When foods need to be reheated before sauteing or serving, the simmer mode is handy. To prevent overflowing, a tank overflow feature is built in to ensure the cooking area remains clean. Also, if the water gets too low, a low-level liquid sensor alerts the operator.

As many as four menu items can be programmed into the Pitco SSPE14 Solstice supreme pasta electric cooker’s built-in countdown timer; this helps operators remove pasta from the water in time. If the unit gets too hot, a temperature-limit switch sounds an alarm and shuts off all heat. When finished cooking, users can open the full-port opening drain valve. For cleaning, its stainless steel exterior is easy to wipe down, and it resists corrosion, so it can be a long-lasting item in commercial kitchens. The steel tank is welded with an extra-smooth, peened finish for accessible cleaning after use.
