To optimize performance and ice quality, the Scotsman SCCG50MB-1SS Brilliance ice maker uses a control system to purge mineral-laden water with each harvest cycle. Using R-134a refrigerant, it can produce a maximum of 65 pounds of gourmet-style ice daily. This large, slow-melting ice doesn’t dilute beverages-ideal to chill specialty cocktails. This unit has a self-closing door and a gravity drain through which water can flow out towards a kitchen drain or other location to accept the runoff.
The Scotsman SCCG50MB-1SS undercounter ice machine features a control panel that offers cleaning reminders and alerts regarding power status and water levels. Its water quality sensor detects mineral-laden water and its control system purges it with each harvest cycle. Its bin is illuminated to ease ice retrieval and its storage capacity is 26 pounds.
